Sharpen Reading Activities

In each unit, Learners practice reading a set of 5-8 key words until they can read them easily. In this activity, Learners are introduced to specific words as a way to help them learn new letter combinations that represent a single speech sound, such as "oa" or "ea." Each new letter combination is represented by a single key word. The word "boat," for example, serves as a keyword for "oa."
