Sharpen Reading Activities

In this activity, the Learner hears a word and spells it using letter tiles. Then, we ask the Learner to change one sound in that word to form a new word, e.g., "Change one sound in 'mop' to make 'map.'" Until the Learner has strong blending skills, the Learner will practice with a Tap-and-Say after each word change.
